BOOKS

Some work begins in conversation.
Some begins quietly, with a page.

These books were created for different moments in a woman’s life and different ways of entering the work—whether you’re learning how to support your health in everyday life, trying to understand yourself more deeply, or looking for a different way forward.

Start with the book that meets you where you are.

A BODY OF WORK

These books didn’t begin as separate ideas.

01 | LIVING THE METHOD

Companion cover final.jpg

For the part that happens after you know what you “should” do.

Knowing the basics of health is one thing. Making them work through busy weeks, changing bodies, travel, restaurants, low-energy days, disrupted routines, and all the other realities of being human is something else.

Living the Method was created for that space—the everyday decisions between knowing what might support you and figuring out what support actually looks like today.

Part guide, part companion, it brings the principles of The Vanessa Dufek Method™ into the moments where healthy living actually happens.

02 | THE EMPOWERED LIFE SYSTEM

Change becomes possible when you understand what’s keeping you stuck.

The Empowered Life System is about looking beneath the patterns, habits, and beliefs that can keep us repeating the same cycles—even when we genuinely want something to change.

It offers a way to understand where you are, recognize what may be getting in the way, and begin making intentional choices about where you want to go next.

03 | FOR GIRLS GROWING UP IN A FILTERED WORLD

THE REAL ME.jpg.png

Before the world tells her who to be, she deserves space to discover who she is.

The Real Me Isn’t Edited was written for girls growing up surrounded by messages about who they should be, how they should look, and what it takes to belong.

Through reflection and conversation, it creates space for a girl to think about identity, confidence, comparison, relationships, social media, and the pressures she is learning to navigate—without telling her who she is supposed to become.

FOR GIRLS · IDENTITY · SELF-TRUST · BELONGING

04 | FOR MOTHERS + DAUGHTERS

Some of the conversations that matter most are the hardest ones to begin.

Conversations I Wish I Had was created to help mothers and daughters talk about the things that can be difficult to put into words.

Through thoughtful prompts and meaningful dialogue, it creates opportunities to listen, ask questions, understand one another more deeply, and make room for conversations that might not happen otherwise.

05 | MOVEMENT FOR REAL LIFE

STAY FIT (1)_edited.jpg

Your body was made to move—even when your day keeps you sitting.

Stay Fit While You Sit is a practical guide for bringing more movement into a life that requires a lot of sitting.

Whether you work at a desk, spend long stretches at a computer, travel frequently, or simply want accessible ways to move more throughout your day, the book offers simple exercises you can use without turning movement into another complicated commitment.

MOVEMENT · MOBILITY · EVERYDAY LIFE

06 | WOMANHOOD · IDENTITY · BECOMING

Being a woman can be complicated. Pretending it isn’t doesn’t make it easier.

Being a Woman is F*cking Hard is a candid exploration of the expectations, relationships, self-doubt, and societal pressures that can shape a woman’s relationship with herself.

Through personal reflection, hard-earned lessons, and practical insight, it explores what can happen when we begin questioning those expectations, finding our own voice, setting boundaries, and making choices that feel more authentically our own.

07 | A BODY OF WORK

Different books.
Different seasons.

A question that keeps
getting deeper.

Across these books, I’ve explored movement and health, identity and body image, relationships, self-doubt, resilience, and what it means to make choices that are truly our own.

The questions have evolved as I have. But underneath them has been a growing curiosity about something even more fundamental: how we learn to relate to ourselves—and what becomes possible when that relationship begins to change.

THE WORK CONTINUES

Foundations is the next chapter of that exploration.

It asks what exists beneath the habits, goals, expectations, and identities we accumulate over a lifetime—and what we might discover when we become curious about what we have learned to believe about ourselves.

It is still being written. And in many ways, it brings together questions I have been exploring for years—through my work, my writing, my relationships, and my own life.
