THE VANESSA DUFEK METHOD™
THE VANESSA DUFEK METHOD™
Your healthy life was never supposed to look like anyone else’s.
Your body is yours. Your goals are yours. Your history is yours. And the life you’re trying to live is uniquely yours, too.
So why would your approach to health be built around someone else’s?
01 | HEALTH SHOULD SUPPORT YOUR LIFE
Your life isn’t supposed to revolve around being healthy.
For many women, health slowly becomes another job to manage. The workouts. The food. The numbers. The routines. The rules. Trying to stay consistent. Trying to get it right.
But health was never meant to become the thing your whole life has to organize itself around. It should give you more capacity for your life—to participate in it, be present for it, and have the energy and freedom to actually live it.
LIFE IS THE PURPOSE
HEALTH SUPPORTS THE LIFE
THE PLAN SUPPORTS THE HEALTH
Not the other way around.
02 | BUILT AROUND YOU
A healthy life looks different on everyone.
You bring your own body, history, experiences, responsibilities, preferences, challenges, and goals to this work. All of those things matter. They shape what you need—and what will actually work in the life you’re living right now.
That doesn’t mean creating a perfect plan and expecting your life to cooperate with it. It means creating enough structure to support your goals, while leaving room to adjust when your body, your circumstances, or your needs change.
The goal isn’t to become better at following a plan.
It’s to learn how to make the plan work for you.
03 | UNDERSTANDING BEFORE JUDGMENT
What if the struggle is trying to tell you something?
When something isn’t working, it’s easy to turn the struggle into a judgment about yourself.
I can’t stay consistent.
I have no discipline.
I keep falling off.
I need to get myself under control.
INSTEAD OF JUDGMENT, TRY CURIOSITY.
What’s happening?
What’s getting in the way?
What do you need?
Struggle, frustration, overwhelm, and inconsistency can tell you something about what isn’t working.
They are information, not a verdict on who you are.
04 | STRUCTURE THAT SUPPORTS YOU
A structure should support you, not trap you.
Structure can make change easier. It can give you direction, reduce decision fatigue, and help you follow through on the choices you want to make. But structure only works when there is enough flexibility for a real human life to happen inside it.
Adaptation is part of consistency.
WHEN LIFE FITS THE PLAN
Follow the structure.
WHEN LIFE CHANGES
Adjust the structure.
WHEN THE PLAN FITS BUT IT’S HARD
Support yourself in following through.
05 | SELF-TRUST
The goal is not to need someone else to tell you what to do.
Support can help you see what you can’t see yet. A coach can offer structure, perspective, tools, and accountability. But the work isn’t about teaching you to depend on someone else’s answers.
What are you noticing?
Why do you think this keeps happening?
What do you think would help?

I know myself.
I can make choices for myself.
I can trust myself to find my way forward.
06 | THE NEXT SUPPORTIVE CHOICE™
You don’t need to fix everything to move forward.
When things don’t go according to plan, you don’t have to start over, make up for what happened, or figure out the entire way forward at once. You only need to ask one question:
What is the next choice you can make to support your journey and your goal?

KEEP GOING
Drink some water. · Eat your next meal. · Take a walk. · Go to bed. · Ask for help. · Adjust the plan. · Do the hard thing.
You don’t have to get everything right to keep moving forward.
07 | THERE IS NO SQUARE ONE
THERE IS NO
SQUARE ONE.
Every choice you’ve made, every lesson you’ve learned, every attempt, every success, and every difficult season comes with you.
There is only where you are today—and the next supportive choice you can make from here.
THE METHOD, LIVED
Your healthy life gets to belong to you.
Not a life organized around doing everything perfectly. Not a body you have to spend your life fighting. Not another set of rules you have to prove you can follow.
A healthy life that supports who you are, what matters to you, and the life you actually want to live.
